Climbing Kilimanjaro in 4K

Dedicated to the Sherpas on the mountain, day in and day out these men and women, carry loads from 23gk up to around 30kg on their back and heads. For them, it's not so much a choice of passion but tourism pays reasonably well - if one is not working on the mountain to keep his family alive and send the kids to school one is working to pay for university fees.

Our team of 23 tourists employed roughly 70 porters, they carry everything from bags, tents, chairs, tables and even toilets. The thing that was most fascinating is the speed at which these guys work, from breaking down camp to reestablishing a camping spot and cooking dinner.

Special thanks to the guys who carried my camera batteries from 4000m down to 600m and back up again, this twice in a week
